The Washington Chapter of HOPE worldwide is proud to announce the 4th Annual Mack Strong TEAM-WORKS Charity Golf Tournament & Auction on July 11th, 2011. We will be returning to Washington’s premier golf and event facility, the Golf Club at Newcastle. Tee off will be at 1:00pm and the auction and banquet event will begin immediately following the tournament at 6:00pm in the ballroom.
Golfers may register as individuals or foursome teams. Registration fee includes green fees, golf cart, lunch, drink tickets, gift bag and admission to the auction & dinner banquet. Golfers may arrive as early as 11:00 am for lunch and arrival registration before the 1:00 pm teeoff.
Tickets to the Auction and Banquet event are also sold separately! Invite a guest to join you to bid on one-of-a-kind items and enjoy gourmet food, wine and the best view in town. We will host a welcome reception beginning at 6:00pm in the ballroom for our evening guests, which will also kick off the silent auction. Sample fine wine selections from Icicle Ridge Winery as you browse the great items donated by local companies to support the TEAM-WORKS Academy.

Proceeds from this event benefit The Mack Strong TEAM-WORKS Academy, a program of HOPE worldwide – Washington Chapter. The TEAM-WORKS Academy helps our area’s most vulnerable children by providing mentorship and tutoring in a safe and supportive environment. Through the generosity of our donors, we have been able to expand our program to reach youth in the inner-cities. Children in this program live in communities with high rates of crime, drug and alcohol abuse, domestic violence and neglect. The TEAM-WORKS program provides a positive intervention at a critical time in these children’s lives. Using an innovative character curriculum and year-round mentorship, we encourage students to make healthy decisions in every area of life. TEAM-WORKS Academy students have shown significant increases in academic test scores, physical fitness levels and growth in their personal ability to overcome the challenges they face.
